Memorial Weekend in Parts (1)

School was out.

The weather was looking good.

So why not get the heck out of town?

T's been interesting in Moab for the past few months, so Moab it was!

The first night we stayed in Green River, UT.

T, being the kind, caring husband I know so well booked us a room at a hotel that first night.

(I'm not too sure I could have handled too nights in a row camping.)

He also made sure the hotel had a swimming pool!

John Wayne hasn't been swimming since last fall.

So when he first saw the pool of water, he acted pretty timid about the whole thing.

After a few minutes, however, he couldn't stop jumping to T.

In fact he couldn't stop jumping so much, several times he jumped in when T wasn't there to catch him!

Good thing we don't have a pool, or else we could be in real trouble...

Needless to say, I'm looking forward to his swim lessons this summer!
