Bear Lake '11

I guess we were really busy last summer, because the last time we went out to Bear Lake was two summers ago, as a farewell to T's brothers, Jake and Andy, as they left for their missions.
Now, they're going to be home in less than three weeks.
Freaky.
Anyway, it was a wonderful day.
Hans + family, and Chase + his family made for some great company.
It was crazy crowded, but we secured a little space all our own.
Chase even brought his boat out for the occasion.
I went out once, and with the wind and the waves, I was pretty much done.
However, the water was amazingly WARM!
Keep in mind, this is not only coming from a Phoenix girl, but we are also talking Bear Lake.
In June.
Very uncommon.
T and John Wayne made for some entertainment as well.
John Wayne ate TONS of cherries.
He kept getting cherries and grapes confused, it does seem like a confusing idea.
He LOVED the boat.
I was told one time out, all the kids jumped out and started swimming.
John Wayne went to the edge of the boat, said, "Come on, Daddy." and jumped right in!
Thankfully, he had his life vest on!
He played so much with the sand and buckets, he was covered in it by the time we left.
T entertained us by getting a hole in his brand-new swimsuit, in the crotch, to the size of a watermelon.
Besides keeping his knees together, it certainly didn't stop him from getting as red as a lobster (which he does EVERY SUMMER).
I enjoyed enjoying my surroundings.
Even with all the people around us, it feel so serene and so calming.
Exactly something I need in this stage of my pregnancy!
