Last Saturday, John Wayne had the special priviledge of attending a friend's birthday party.
He had fun, in that two year old kind of way.
I think he was more enthused about the backyard he could roam freely without us circling his every move.
Later on, T and I decided to try some geocaching.
We actually had a lot of fun!
We already like to go on drives, and with this kind of hobby, we are going with a purpose.
We found two caches.
Afterwards, we decided to make a fire at a local campsite and have ourselves a good ole fashioned cookout.
We had a good time, and John Wayne especially enjoyed his time of there.
The proof was in his muddy clothes, his naked drive home, his resistence to taking a nap all day, and sudden crash into deep slumber right after we left to go home.
I would say it was a good Saturday.
