This Thanksgiving proved to be a first for married us.
We planned on going to Phoenix for the holiday, and then spending Christmas with T's family.
Then we found out, T was on call for work that week and couldn't leave our little valley.
We were disappointed, and without a place to go...
Thankfully, T's aunt Janice, who lives around here, was kind enough to invite us to their Thanksgiving.
She actually rented out the school for the day.
It turned out to be really fun!
We ate dinner in the teacher's lounge, jumped in a bouncy house in a classroom, took pictures in the commons, rode scooters and played basketball in the gym, and watched movies in the library on a big movie screen.
It was probably the most activity-filled Thanksgiving I've ever had!
Though we didn't get to go where we planned, it sure was a fun alternative!
