21 Weeks and It's a ...

This time, we decided to find out the gender.
Mostly because we live somewhat far from a place to purchase baby items, and if we knew the gender, then we could get a leg up on getting the gender-specific items needed.
I'm glad we did.
Sure, it did feel like we were taking away some of the excitement on the actual birthing day, but it also makes it feel more real.

Last time, I, of course, knew there was a baby in there, but since I didn't know the gender, I felt couldn't picture my life with a child.
This time, I can visualize my kids playing outside in the yard.  I can see us snuggling with our children.  I picture a life with 2 kids.
Do I really understand what it will be like to care for two little people?
Goodness, no!
I've learned I can't avoid that, however.
So, I'm going to continue to live in my world of ignorant bliss until reality sinks in (aka: the baby's born.)
To get back on topic, it's a
BOY!
We're super pumped!
I shouldn't be surprised, T's family is prone to having boys.
So far, there are 16 grandsons and 12 grandaughters.
2 boys...can I deal with that?
I need to get used to twice the wild boy antics. Twice the messes. Twice the destruction.
On the bright side, I won't have to deal with the crazy girl drama just yet.

I hope my sons are best friends like T and his brothers.
I can't imagine anything better than that!
