Our Babymoon

Months ago, the OB/GYN gave us this book. It just had a bunch of coupons/advertisements for local baby/maternity places around the valley. In one of the articles, it talked about couples who went on something called a 'babymoon', a vacation you go on before the baby is born, kind of like a last hurrah. I'd never heard of it before, but ever since reading about it, the idea had been stuck in my brain. I was going to have fall break the first week of October, so we could go on our babymoon then, if it fit into T's schedule. We talked and talked about where we should/could go. After awhile, the topic fell by the wayside.

Fastforward a few weeks ago, fall break was coming up soon and I wanted to do SOMETHING on those days off. We started talking about seeing the play Wicked while it was here in Tempe, but we were too busy/lazy to go at that time (we have no excuse, we live less than 3 miles away from Gammage). So, we decided we would drive to where ever they were performing it, and see it. The closest city showing Wicked was San Francisco. So, guess where we went last week?

We bought the Wicked soundtrack, packed up the car, headed on out, and prepared for the 14-hour car ride that lied in front of us.

To Be Continued...

San Francisco is sooo far- aren't they still performing it in LA?? Either way- the show is AMAZING. You will love it. Enjoy the trip.

Sounds like fun! I bet you aren't to the point where sitting for a long period of time gets uncomfortable. So take advantage of that while you can!
