Something Strange is Happening Here

The leaves are falling off the trees.

I actually wear a sweater to stay warm instead of wearing one primarily for decoration/trying to get myself in the fall mood.

This is the first time in our marriage we've turned the heat on in the winter.

I love being able to actually SEE the seasons change versus watching them in holiday movies.

For me, it is much easier to get into the Halloween spirit when the weather cooperates.

Along with the fact that both of us have kids, Jenny and I decided to do some festive things to feel more Halloween-y.

The first one: making Halloween cookies.

Confessions:

The kids were little to no help.

It was more fun watching Linkon 'help' us with the cookie making than Baby J (He just wanted to put all the dough in his mouth).

I'm excited to put Baby J in his Halloween costume; he's going to look adorable!

I'm excited to see Linkon actually have some understanding of what's going on.

 

It's going to be a good Halloween.
