Ch Ch Ch Ch Changes

We have been talking about this for awhile, even before I got pregnant.
T liked his job here, but he wanted to try something different.
We talked and prayed about it for a long time.
Over a year.

T moved down here for me.
He supported me both financially and emotionally while I finished school.
He even let me get a job here and begin my teaching career.
He sacrificed so much for me.
After all the talks and prayers, we received our answer.

It was now his turn.

T has a buddy that's a manager of an oil company out in Wyoming.
At one point, this buddy called T and told him if he ever wanted a job, there would be one waiting for him there.

Around mid-April, he drove up to this area of Wyoming to see if he actually could get a job.
He got hired the minute he walked into his buddy's office.
We took it as a sign.

For the past two and a half weeks, T has been working the oil field.
It's been rough on both of us, but we both feel like we're supposed to do this.
For the time being, T is living with his brother, who also lives/works out there.

Facts about our new home:
Town: Big Piney
Population: 400
Surrounding Areas: Nearest Wal-Mart? 2 hours,
nearest airport? 3 hours,
Jackson Hole? 1 hour
Points of Interest: grocery store also doubles as a gas station
Nickname: The Icebox Capital of the World

T has maybe found a place for us.
(I don't want to jinx it) We might even have a washer and dryer!
There are a kaleidoscope of feelings going through me right now.
For better or for worse: it will definitely be an adventure.

On a sadder note, my mom is leaving for 2 1/2 months.
To India.
One Word: Stink!

Just think, you and T will be able to be together and that is what matters most. Sometimes I think in a marriage you need to be challenged. Who knows you might LOVE WY! :)

I was talking to your mom about you guys moving on Sunday....that is SUCH a big change! By the stats, it sounds like it will be a culture shock out there! Will you still work then (at the k-5 school?) or stay home with baby J? Good luck! It ought to be an adventure for sure!
