This Fourth of July was more low-key than last year. Both of our families were out of town, so we didn't have a major celebration like some years. We found a field near our apartment, put the top down on the car we're borrowing from my parents (thanks again!), and watched the Tempe Town Lake fireworks. They were kinda far away, but at least we weren't surrounded by a bunch of people in an uncomforable place. It was exactly what I needed!
Sometimes I feel like I need holidays like this to remind myself just how blessed I am. I certainly feel like I've got the lion's share of blessings!
