Mazatlan (Day 6)

We once again got into the harbor early in the morning, so we decided to get off the boat early too. We had already planned out what we were going to do. My dad had done some research and found this really cool beach called 'Stone Beach'. You have to take a boat to get there, and for $2 both ways for all of us was a great deal! Here is my dad buying the tickets to get over to the beach.

Here are the 'water taxis' just waiting for people to take them across. It was pretty foggy when we first got there. We couldn't see much!

The beach was so relaxing! Everyone did something different. I mostly laid out, enjoying the ocean waves and breezes. I did periodically get in the water and do a little body surfing, but for the most part I just laid out with Sam and my dad.T and Preston spent a lot of time working on their sandcastle.

This is how the other half lives! We got refreshing drinks and enjoyed them while laying out!
We stayed right in front of Victor's, this great shrimp place. We ate the most amazing coconut shrimp there! Notice how red T is getting?

We decided to get some henna tattoos. T wanted one right on the side of his head!Near the end of our day, we rented a water wienie and rode around the island for a bit. I have never seen so many palm trees grown in a group before. I probably haven't seen that many naturally grown palm trees either. The thing about Arizona is: palm trees are planted everywhere, by landscapers.
It was so fun! Although, at this point T resembles a very ripe tomato...
